My first post is up over on the WOW blog! Head on over there to get a step by step on how I created this layout….

Scrapping away from home

So we spent xmas and new years with phils family down at their Shack and I managed to do a spot of scrapping while I was there. Here are a couple of layouts using WOW chipboard.

This one with Jett and his dinosaur obsession is using WOW Cog frame (c819)
WOW bookplates assorted (c580)

Ive just kept it fairly simple and inked both pieces of chipboard with a brown colour.

Jordy boys last day of pre-kinder I have used

WOW little boy silhouettes (C1419)
WOW date tag pack (C350)

The date tag I have left bare and just outlines around it with black sharpie. The little boy silhouette I have misted & outlined in black.

I have been creating up a storm lately, Well 3 layouts in 2 days is big for me LOL will be back to share more when I can. Hope you are all well out there in cyber land.

Ok so I totally missed all of December! so so busy, im about 6 pages into my daily december album…..and yep its the middle of January! tsk tsk Emma. My new years resoloution to BLOG more.

Anyway I have some exciting scrappy news today!

The WOW – words or whatever Design Team have been announced today and Suzanne asked me to be on the team, I’m so stoked! I’ve been working with WOW chipboard since September on the inspirational team and am totally loving it, always something new & gorgeous coming out. Really appreciate being able to create for WOW on the DT. Anyways you should go check out the blog and see the introduction pages, gorgeous! Here is mine….

Just another quick post. Sharing another WOW chippy layout. These cute reindeer antlers came in the pack of 3, I ran them through a dot embossing folder, I love dots! Also the chippy title was actually “christmas concert” but I cut the concert off.

Hi just a quick update for you all. I Have been super busy this month, flying interstate for concerts, taking lots of photos & editing for clients and general mummy stuff. Hence the reason it has taken me all month to blog! Almost december means its going to be even busier next month. But I am looking forward to going to SA for 3 weeks for christmas.

anyways here is a WOW layout for you. Theres been a few blog posts go up on there blog, so you should go check it out. Lots of cool christmas chipboard! Here is a layout using a chipboard title.

This is my gorgeous nephew Jai, Ive used a wow bracket & a title that I have cut into 2 parts, coloured it with black sharpie and outlined with white pen. Speaking of WOW the first xmas post went up today, click on the link to check it out.

Savvy cyber crop

So I did 3 challenges over at Savvy for the cyber crop this month. Loved it, gave me a right kick up the butt and got me scrapping again. Its just so hard to find the time to get into the scrap room. They have a new DT member over at Savvy, Tara Scobie, my fellow master, I did apply but with competition like that pfft not even a look in im sure!! love her stuff, if your not familiar with her work (im sure you are!!!) head on over to savvy and say Hi, the girls over there in the forum are awesome! Anyway here are my Layouts…..

Kerryns challenge this month was to jack someones layout from the gallery. I really liked this layout by Anne..

My Layout..

This one was for Saras sketch. Me & Don who I met at the retreat. love her! I used some WOW chippie on this layout, june flourish & the little butterfly. In love with that flourish!

Antheas challenge was layering, misting/paint and distressed, I love all those things! and I love this layout, and even better its got a WOW star on it.

Anyway Im colouring my hair, so I better scoot off and wash it out, its been in there 15 minutes to long. Will catch up again soon. I will have some christmas WOW to show soon.

Wowing it up

Hi, Ive been creating for WOW again. Loving the chipboard that Suzanne sent me to play with, just received some christmas chipboard as well, i’m going to have to dig up some christmas photos from last year!

This layout is of Hells Bells at the snow this winter.

Love this cute WOW bird which Ive just inked the edges of. Also used a bracket and have misted and outlined with white pen.

As cute as a button chipboard title that I have misted with me hueys white calico I think its called, anyway I think its the best white spray ever! As well as the butterfly, again mr hueys spray!

This layout is of Jordan on fathers day friendly beach. Isnt he a cutie?!

Savvy Delights retreat

So I know I keep promising to blog more, Im hopeless really! I really am hoping to get a bit more done scrapping wise, I’ve found that I want to scrap more now, thanks to the Savvy delights retreat that was held at Tahmoor this month. I had the best time, met the most gorgeous ladies! managed to get a bit of scrapping done in between the laughter & the little sleep we had! A big thanks to Lisa Warren for going out of her way to pick us up from the airport and dropping us back again! you rock!

scrap the boys

Get on over to the scrap the boys blog, this month challenge is up!

This month your challenge is to use TAPE on your layout, this can be decorative tape, masking tape or even think outside of the square and make your own.
You also need to use PLAY in your title.

Here is my example…

at the moment im working on my last Masters challenge. This year is going so quickly & its been so much fun creating for scrapbooking memories magazine, I still get a kick out of seeing my name in the magazine with my masters stamp next to it! If your thinking about entering, but aren’t sure, just do it, you have nothing to lose!

Im going to try and start scrapping & blogging more, I know I have been so slack but to tell you the truth Ive got no mojo and I really just dont feel like it half the time. I have been knitting though (hahhaa me knitting) and I actually finished my first ever newborn hat, to put in my prop box for photo shoots. Now i just need a newborn to take some photos of!!

although it feels like we have already had our winter in autumn. It is getting very cold though at night, frosty and all that. Anyway start of the month means all the new challenges are out on the terrific three. The terrific three being white with 1, Kraft it up & Scrap the boys :) go check them out yeah! Loving the kraft it up challenge this month, im so gonna make time to do that one. its been awhile

I know its been awhile, still don’t have a home phone, still no internet. But managed to steal some for a few minutes :) I have a few layouts to share with you.

Firstly my kit from What is old is new, these photos are bad so I apologise the whites look blue I didn’t set my wb on my camera. I will retake them at some stage.

I think there is still a couple of this kit left in the shop, it is a super versatile kit, as you can see I haven’t just used ‘boy’ photos.

Scrap the boys challenge for this month is well underway and there are some stunning entries so far.

This months challenge is to...
SCRAP A LAYOUT ABOUT A COLLECTION THAT YOUR SON OR HUSBAND HAS.
THIS COULD BE LEGO, ARMY MEN, TEDDIES, DINOSAURS, TOYS OR BOOKS...

hmmm what else has been happening?? Oh well this month also I have a layout on the online mag called scrap n art. Sherry asked me to do a layout using Kraft cardstock which I happen to luurve. :) Also there is a feature this month on louise nelson (love her go check her blog out if you haven’t already) and the hugely popular ‘she art’ canvas craze. Which I’ve just finished one myself

hiya troops,

just wanted to check in with you all and let you know I am alive I just have no internet at the moment, turns out telstra havent put cabling up our street yet! should be completed by the end of this month, so that will be nice! I will get my internet back and can go back to posting all my scrapping stuff :) Not that there has been a great deal of scrapping going on. I have been scrapping Kits for WHAT IS OLD IS NEW, Mel had a little break from making kits but she missed it so much she is back on it, so please head on over to the site and buy up big her kits are way awesome! ;) also all the challenges are up and running at the challenge blogs, white with 1, scrap the boys and Kraft it up! get on it people :)

Savvy sketch & a LO for Donna

hiya all! Over at Savvy we had a photo swap, I happened to get the lovely Donnas photo. This is what I did with it.

Hope she likes it. Since she was my partner she got to do a photo for me. This is what she did, pretty awesome right, love the little flower cluster!

Funnily enough I have just scrapped this photo as well. Its interesting to see the different colours etc that we chose. I used the new echo park playground which I lurve! And its for antheas sketch challenge this month.

Just got some Layouts to share with you. I bought some my little shoebox a few weeks ago, it so girly and bright. Here is what I created. I also used my Maya Road shadow box thingy that was a masters prize! Oh and I made a card! crazy I know!!

This Layout is Bella with her fingernails painted. OMG she is starting to be such a girly girl, its all about pink and frills!

Lots to share

Hello April! Today is a good day! we got word that we sold our house today, yay! We move into the new one in 2 weeks time and selling this one has just taken the pressure off. I am so excited! Planning a trip to vegas and some new furniture for the house.

Onto some scrappy stuff. Have you heard WHAT IS OLD IS NEW KITS are coming back. Mel has had a bit of a break from doing kits and is ready to get back into it. Im so glad, was missing the kit goodness she puts together. So keep an eye on the blog or the facebook page for more info.

This is the first layout I’ve done lately that I actually like. Funny isn’t it? I don’t know what about it that I like so much, its just an ordinary Em layout I think, but for some reason I think yay have I got my mojo back?? I have not been doing a lot of scrapping lately and half the time I really CBF getting my stash out. I hope it all changes when we get into the new place and I can keep my stash out all the time!

So just thought I would pop in and share something that I can now actually share with you. I was trying out for the down under direct Design Team, made it into the 2nd round but unfortunately didnt make the cut. Not to worry! They sent out a pack of Bazzill and some spellbinders already cut out and I had to create 2 cards and a layout, minimal pattern paper were to be used and there were some other rules anyways this is what I came up with…

I don’t often make cards, but I don’t mind these I suppose. LOL

At the moment I am working on a few SM projects that I cant share with you but I am hoping I can squeeze some normal scrapping in somewhere!

Oh before I go I would love to share a couple of photos from Missy and Johnos wedding. I had the best time shooting their wedding day, its really very stressful though, mad props to the pros that do that for a living!! But for someone that has not had any training as such I was really quite happy with what I got. I can also see some areas where I can improve, im putting it down to lack of real knowledge on what I am doing. Anyway my favs from the day

hiya! just popping on to share the layout I did based on Antheas sketch over at Savvy. Here it is….

So I did the Layout at the start of the month and I havent done anything since. We have been so so busy here, building the new house, trying to sell this one. Its exhausting. Bells starts Kindy this thursday, she is so so excited! my little girl…off to school 3 full days a week! Dont think me & the boys will know what to do with ourselves.

So Im photographing a friends wedding for them in March, yesterday we had a mini shoot up at the gorge, its so so pretty up there. I can not wait to take Missy & johnos wedding photos, so excited. Here is a little look at what we came up with yesterday.

Anyways Im hoping to get some scrappy time in very very soon, Like in a minny. LOL

oh dear, im sorry im such a bad blogger! truth is though, I havent done anything much this month. With all my stuff packed away for open inspections on the house I just can not get motivated to get it out of the cupboard, So much better when I just had it sitting there where I could come or go as I pleased! Can not wait to get into the new house!!!! I do have something to share with you though. I attempted the colour challenge over at Savvy for this month, loved the colours sara chose for us, my paper doesnt look as grey as I think it looks IRL, but whatever its something scrapped right

Oh some good news, “friend Mel” (as bells call her) and I have taken over Scrap the boys. So thats White with 1, Kraft it up & Scrap the boys Mel has, shes a clever little duck and very good at multi tasking. LOL anyways we are very excited to get STB back up and running, going through some details over the next week or so, Should be a goer for March though keep your eyes peeled. Dont forget to have a look at KIU & WW1 though, the new challenges will be up in the next day or 2. so exciting

What is Old is new

howdy and welcome to 2011! I have been a little awol lately. My silly laptops battery died :( still waiting on a replacement so I cant even get on my lappy! So over it I tell ya. Anyways I just wanted to stop in and share this kit from WHAT IS OLD IS NEW. Its the summer lovin' bumper kit and its huge. Head on over to the shop and grab a bargain at the moment. Kits have been reduced, prices include postage, remember if you buy two kits you will be refunded one lot of postage, if you buy 3 or more kits you will be refunded the excess postage charge after your order has been posted. Pretty bloody good I think! I managed 5 layouts out of this kit, but there is still lots of embellys left for more, such great value!! Here they are....

With the new month brings all the new challenges out and about. KRAFT IT UP, SCRAP THE GIRLS, SCRAP THE BOYS, GET PICKY, THE COLOR ROOM, WHITE WITH 1. lots and lots to play with there :) Here is my CT example for white with 1 - the criteria is royal or navy blue & white (of course) along with bunners/bunting. too easy right!! :) Make sure you go over to white with 1 and have a look at all the inspiration from the CT, they are awesome!!! :)

Ok I think thats it from me for the moment. Im working on a couple of things for Scrapbooking Memories but other than that I havent had a chance or the motivation to do any scrapping. I really wanted to do Scrapbook Savvys cyber crop but I just ran out of time. I might do the challenges anyways since I thought they were cool. more savvy challenges

so I have been busy doing all the challenges over at savvy this month. Just cause I should not (but have been sorta) be walking, so I have lots of time to sit and scrap!

anyways here is my badly photographed layouts (i cant be bothered re taking them in better light, it was crappy here yesterday) for

sara’s colour challenge – orange, black, white & teal.

and San’s 5,4,3,2,1 which was 5 photos, 4 squirts of mist, 3 different PP, 2 chipboard pieces and 1 bit of bling.

Yesterday the SCRAPBOOKING MEMORIES masters mag went on sale. I was not expecting me to feel the way I did when I saw myself in there, with my entries, I was a little emotional about it (is that lame?) This was my 2nd year of entering and I didnt expect to be picked in the topped 10 but my friends were doing it so I thought what the hell I might as well, gotta be in it to win it right!! SO RIGHT!! LOL anyways We know the ending…..I just didn’t expect to feel so proud. hehe

Scrapbook savvy

If you are a FB friend or on the savvy forum you probably already know that yesterday my knee cap got dislocated, anyway long story short, im not very mobile at the moment. Good excuse the scrap I say So this morning I finished off this layout for Scrapbook savvys ABC challenge set by Kerryn. I chose the letter P, and had to use pleats and paint. Im not really happy with it in the end, I dont like the paint, but oh well, what can you do. Here is ‘Pirate Party’ – my three pirate babies at Jordys 3rd birthday party.

Anyway, im gonna go have a little nap I think, while I have my gorgeous sister here helping me with the kids

A Savvy Sketch

So I was at ‘scrap night’ over at Mels the other night, looking for something to do. Wends suggested I give Antheas Savvy sketch a go. I love a good multiphoto sketch as I dont often scrap multiphoto layouts, but I struggled with this one to start off with. In the end though I was happy with my layout. Here it is….

We are still a festy house here at the moment. Struggling to get rid of the flu! Not nice at all. Which means we havent been doing our normal errands & catch ups with friends, which makes it rather boring for my daily december album. Here is a look at the cover

White with 1s challenge for December is up. This months criteria is to use white (duh) grey + a masking techinque. Easy peasy! Really loving all the CT layouts, am a little bit partial to grey of late. Here is my example.

So if you all hadn’t heard already, I made it in the top 10 Scrapbooking masters for Scrapbooking memories mag. How frickin awesome is that! I’ve known for a few months and was not allowed to tell anyone! how hard was that?? I mean I could never even keep a secret when i was preggers with the kiddies, that’s how bad I am! But I am so stoked to be able to share now I wasn’t home the day the calls went out, I had my mobile with me as usual and really wasn’t expecting anything, so when my hubby rang to tell me there was a message on our answering machine at home from ‘some scrapbooking girl, I think her name was Kristy’ i almost wet my pants! I still can not really believe that i am a master, its such an honour for me. Not to mention the other 9 chickies on the list. Im such a huge fan of Tara’s work and have been a stalker of her blog for awhile Here is the list, go and check out their blogs. I for one, can not wait to see the mag

Scrap the Boys

So I did the Scrap the boys 2nd challenge for the month, which was to alter chipboard, I also used the sketch that suse has got on there as well. Pretty happy with how my layout turned out. I cut out some chipboard with my tim holtz cogs die, then I painted them with paint, then used some crackle paint on top of that. I think they turned out pretty good. what do you think?

I’m so excited about december, its my favourite month in the year I have my daily december album all ready to go, got the numbers on each page waiting to be filled with our lives. I will leave you with this picture of my birthday boy, Jordy turned 3 this month, and on sunday he fell up the stairs and cut his chin open, the blood was everywhere and mumma almost passed out. LOL a trip to the ER and 2 hours later he was all glued up and right to go. its a litte sore and bruised still but all is good.

Got my hair done yesterday, it had been ages since I had a hair cut as my hairdresser had to cancel my last appointment as she was very sick, poor thing, but then it took me another 6 weeks to get into her, Anyways im loving the new do :) what do you think?

what a weekend……

So I just had a massive weekend. friday night my baby sister celebrated her 18th birthday with a surprise mad hatter themed party (organised by mum and I). she loved the theme and had a fantastic time. My friend Suse (totally talented, but not quite as awesome as me ;)) Made the birthday cake, which was a total hit!! and she also painted my face to look like the queen of hearts, which my sis loved.

Then saturday I headed off to the church of apostles to photograph a wedding. Em & cameron were really good for my first time photographing a wedding, so relaxed and easy going. I love love this shot of them walking back down the isle together, Em says she is printing that onto canvas and popping it on her wall, I would love to see it up there. :)

Sunday my friend Tarma married her long time partner Jay, they are so so cute together!! Tarma asked me to photograph her wedding also, which I had fun doing. It was a very relaxed wedding and the setting was perfect for pics. I have alot of favourites from sunday :) and heaps more I havent got around to editing yet.

oh dear how slack am I!? So I have not got anything to share scrapbooking wise. Terrible I know, next month though I will have some scrappy shares. This month has gone soooo quickly. My gorgeous Sister in Law had a gorgeous little boy at the start of the month, DH and I were lucky enough to spend 4 days in adelaide with them. Thanks mum for having the kids. Anyway of course I took my camera, and subjected the little tacker to a few(hundred) pics. LOL here are some of my favs!

Scrap space

Hi all! Last night I did a layout for scrap the boys august challenge! woop woop back at it. So then I sat down at my desk and I was going to do the other august challenge from STB and realised I couldn’t move, I had a little 30cm x 30cm spot without anything on it, but there was crap everywhere……so what did I do?? Complained to my hubby!! LOL He told me, you are not buying a bigger table or anything else till we build the new house and then we can sort something out for your scrap space! well actually he just said your not buying a bigger table, but I totally know he was thinking about the setup he is going to build me in the new house!!! coz I totally was. hahahaha. Anyway I decided to go through my stuff, throw some stuff out that i’ve been hoarding from 6 years ago and that I am never ever going to use, So that’s what I did, I also pulled out my tall cupboard and went through that, and hallelujah I have room to actually create!! I wasn’t smart enough to take before photos but I did get some after shots! here they are. one with the cupboard door open!

So anyway I forgot to take a pic of the layout so will do that tomorrow :) take care for now

Since my terms finished up at SCRAP THE GIRLS and KRAFT IT UP, I have only got my DT spot at WHAT IS OLD IS NEW left, I find I have not been doing any scrapping and not feeling motivated to even go over to my scrap table. Although I have been playing with my cuttlebug and all the awesome goodies that I got for my birthday. Lovin the cuttlebug!!!!! :) Also scrap night at Mels we have just been putting together kits and things for What is old is new, so no scrapping there either. I am going to do something by the end of the week, so stay tuned ;)

So what have I been doing you may ask? Well I have had a lot of people asking me to do photo shoots for them lately, and while I may not be a professional or know a lot about the finer details of photography I am having an absolute ball taking pictures for people. I have really caught some sort of photography bug :)
My camera comes with me everywhere and everything I look at I am wondering if there is an interesting photo there. lol So I decided, hey I might be doing a pretty good job if people keep asking me to take photos of them, maybe I can take this somewhere, doing something I really love doing………something to think about it anyway ;) going to share a couple shoots I have done, but will do them in separate posts.

So just realised as I opened this up, that Im on the 100th post, How cool is that! I just wanted to come back 3rd day in a row and share some more photos. My little sis Bonnie and I went to the markets on sunday morning, took our cameras and just took pictures of random things. Its a great opportunity to play with photoshop after, which I love doing. So here are a few of my favourite pics from sunday.... there were lots of old cameras that were cool to look at -

On our way home we stopped off at the cheap shop to have a look for some containers for my ribbons, anyway we pulled into the car park and I thought, hmm how cool is that red brick wall, so I whipped out my tripod (any excuse to play with my new toy) set it up and we took some pics of each other. lol.

This is a funny pic really, We were coming out of the shop and Bonnie just kept taking shots of me, I was telling her to nick off (not that nicely) in this. But for some reason I like it. LOL

oh dear, I gotta go, jordy is telling me i need to change his nappy. LOL

Photography - photo heavy post!

So to follow up on my photography class, I did another one, this time it was all about night shooting. It was such a fun play around class, to see what we could do with lights and things. We did a walk around seaport and the mill area again, then we also played with light trails and water in motion. I love doing the light trails and so wanna play with that a bit more. We also had homework, shooting the moon and playing with a LED torch. Anyway here are some pics from that class.

In scrapping news, I posted my masters entry in yesterday! now the wait begins ;) cant wait to share those entries with you, I like my double the best and I hate doubles. LOL. Anyway thats it from me at the moment, my children have gone awfully quiet, I better go see what mischief they are up to.

holy crap where is the year going! 1 week till my 29th birthday, gee im getting old ;) anyway a few things to share with you all.

Photography course

So I finally went and did the adult education photography class ive been wanting to do. This was a 2 hour class one night doing theory, then a 6 hour class taking photos. I had a lot of fun, but now I want to learn more and more. Am looking to do some more classes in the future. I have found a real love for it. To go along with my scrapping obsession! oh dear!!! lol anyway just wanted to share some pics I took on the day then photoshopped :)

We played with composition, white balance, lighting, etc. took pictures of reflections, boats, buildings, etc. I had alot of fun. Anyway thats it from me at the moment. Hope you are all doing well.

hiiii, im still here just got nothing crafty that I can share with you (doesnt mean I havent been doing anything crafty though) :)) almost middle of the month already, honestly where has this year gone???

Anyway look what I got in the mail!!!! the gorgeous jodie from sweet vintage had a giveaway on her blog, all you had to do was leave a comment, and low and behold my number came up as the winner! woo friggin hoo!! if you havent seen what jodies etsy shop is all about go check it out, she has the cutest doilies and handmade flowers, this is what she sent me, awesome!!

I have my Adult Ed photography course tomorrow night and saturday, So excited about it. Which is a lead into what im going to show you now :) I went and visited a friend from work on the weekend and took some pics of her gorgeous girls, here is a couple of my favourites.

a new month

HI!! middle of the year already. Where does the time go! I went and saw eclipse last night, at midnight :) love the twilight stories, liked the movie, it was good. But this morning I have woken with a horrible sinus cold. blocked nose, sneezing, watery eyes, sore throat :( So woe is me today!! lol I hate feeling like this, especially since its my gorgeous girls 4th birthday on saturday, hopefully I am feeling better by then. We are having a family get together to celebrate and im really looking forward to it, since there had been some bad blood between my uncles and they decided to harden up, have a cup of conrete and make up, which is soooo lovely, not just for them but for the whole family. Life is far to short to be fighting with the people that mean the most.

Anyway I love the start of the month for scrapping, all the new challenges and things get released and people usually have lots to share on their blogs, and since im a stalker of blogs i like this time of the month :) I have a couple of layouts to show, havent scrapped much the last fortnight that I can share. :) So on with the layouts.....

KRAFT IT UP
This months challenge is to create a LO, any size, using Kraft of course ;-) and you also need to use between 4 and 6 photos, now these can be any size, as you can see from the CT's gorgeous layouts we have all used an assortment of sizes.

Your entry needs to be emailed to us no later than 8pm on the 31st July.

Dont forget if you wish to apply for the CT you will need to do this challenge and have your application emailed in by the 20th July.

man im cold today! its yucky and wet here today, i suppose it is winter so really what do i expect. lol

dunno if you noticed or not but i changed my header to this....my little munchkins...my world!

So I decided to give the challenge over at THE COLOUR ROOM a go, here is my layout...

I handmade the flowers from crepe paper, I think they turned out very cute, you may even see them in an upcoming kit over at what is old is new kits, you just never know!!! lol

I really have the taking photos bug at the moment, and I thought it might be lovely if i got my gorgeous cousins in town for a photo shoot, So since there is still leaves all over the ground from autumn we chose to go to city park, its just gorgeous there!!! Here are some of my favourite shots from our photo shoot. There were so many that I loved, it was hard to choose :)
arent they just precious!! Thanks heaps guys, it was so much fun taking your photos and spending the arvo with you in the park, I think the kids had fun to :)

hey hows it going everyone?? Today I enrolled in an adult education photography course for next month!! im pretty excited, hoping that I learn something great from it, I've really been enjoying taking and editing photos, and I know Im nothing like all the fantastic photographers i stalk in the blog world, but would really like to learn more and maybe make something out of it :) anyway thought I would post some more photos of the tutu photo shoot with hells bells :) just a couple of my favs!

isnt my girl so adorable!!! Well i think so. lol.

I made a header for my blog today, so will fix that up tomorrow :) and hopefully get some scrapping in. What is everyone else up to? Thats it for me, might go to bed a bit earlier tonight, the last 2 nights I have sat up passed midnight reading the latest installment in the Vampire academy books!! love it, cant wait for the next one.

HELLO!! start of the month so i have some scrappy shares for you today!

Firstly though I want to share this cute as hat that my little sister made, My hubby went away on the weekend, and bonnie stayed over and kept me company for a couple of days, anyway she is into all sorts of odd things and got this idea in her head that she wanted to make a little top hat, so I just happened to have what she needed in my stash and told her to go for it, anyway the end result is just gorgeous! well done Bon! here is a pic of the finished hat.

cute huh!! Well then I had this idea to put it on my almost 4 year old daughter, with the tutu that I made her (I made me one to except mines for a costume party) and have a little photo shoot, this is my favourite shot of the day, Of course I have edited this photo in photoshop Elements, used some awesome actions and textures that I have got from the super cool coffeshop blog. Anyway i just love the little hat with the tutu on my daughter :)

Onto the scrapbooking......

KRAFT IT UP new challenge goes up today, this month criteria is to create a minimalist layout on a kraft base. Head on over to check out all the inspiration from the creative team. Here is my layout.

Shock horror huh!! thought I would just come back and share my Scrap the Girls and Kraft it up layouts :)

Firstly here are my Scrap the Girls layouts for the past 2 months...

Aprils example, our criteria was a 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 challenge....

May example, our criteria for this month is a colour challenge, head on over to the blog to get the comours and enter your example before the end of the month........

Kraft it Up

Aprils example, criteria was to create a monochromatic layout using kraft and one other colour.

Mays criteria is to create your own Pattern Paper, i used my base kraft, some love hearts and glimmermist to create this layout, head on over to the Kraft it Up blog and get your entries in before the end of the month.

I know, I know, its been soooooo long since I posted. I have had alot going on, but nothing going on at the same time. lol Bells spilled a cup of juice on my laptop so i havent had one for a few weeks, luckily it was covered on insurance, so I have just got new one, slightly better than the one i had before. Also they were able to recover all of 2010s photos, but i have lost all of 2009s :( i am quite devastated, all jetts baby photos etc. Anyway moving on from that depressing topic. Mel and I went to melbourne for mistified with tattered angels and heidi swapp, it was very cool, heidi is a super cute and funny lady, it was great to meet her and have her teach us 2 classes. I even got a photo with her! heres mel and me at mistified..

so the comp over at artistic document is all over and done with, I managed to fluke a 3rd place prize, so thats really awesome here are my remaining weeks layouts that you havent seen yet :)

Week 4 Magical Musical Tour

Over at artisitic document the magical music tour is still going. Week 4s criteria was to do a comic book/cartoon style layout, also was to have doodling, bright colours, cutwork, layering. I really struggled with this this week, and i spent 4 hours turning my photos into comic book looking pictures, so i will post one of the photos as well cause you cant really tell the work i put into them. lol :)

so i havent got my laptop back from the computer drs yet. This is like the 4th week and im getting pissed!!! So I have not been able to share anything with all you beautiful people that actually read my blog! is there anyone? lol

my masters entry

So i got an honourable mention in the masters. WOOT WOOT!! pretty happy with it!! and my dear friend Kells made it in the top 10. You so rock girl!! congratulations. I have not seen the mag yet, gonna have a look tonight :) thought i would share my entries with you, all but the shaped layout which is what got the honourable mention for if you wanna see that the mag goes on sale on the 20th of this month :)

I apologise for the crappy photos but you get the idea :) So here they are.....

first up is my achievments layout.......pretty simple really and predictable, what else would of my greatest achievement in life been beside my gorgeous family.

and then my favourite, my mystery project...I made a wall banner. I really love it, each square is a 12x12, then you have the triangles, so its quite big.

So there you have it. Im proud of my work, it may not be some peoples cup of tea, and certainly everyone is entitled to there opinions, but i like it :)

so its december already. how crazy is that!! we put our xmas tree up yesterday, that was fun, i had little bella helping me out, and i put jordy in his high chair as he was trying to destroy it! lol

anyway a few scrapping things to share....

Scrap the Girls Creative Team Call

Our gorgeous girls who are currently on the team will be finishing up their duties at Scrap the girls at the end of January. So that means we are looking for a new creative team! Of course the current girls are very welcome to re-apply also :)

If you would like to be a part of Scrap the Girls, it is very easy. All you are required to do is.....

* One layout a month, which must be emailled to me before the 1st of each month
* Advertise the scrap the girls challenges on your blog or regular forum whenever you can!
* Vote for your favourite layouts at the end of each month

To apply for the position you must......
* Complete the November and December scrap the girls challenges
* Email me a short bio of yourself and why you would like to be on the Scrap the Girls CT
* Please include a link to your blog (if you have one) and any current Design Team or Creative Team commitments

Successful applicants will be notified by email on the 10th of January, and those who make the team must have their February challenge sample pages done by the 31st of January 2010.

bet ya thought i wasnt gonna post for like a zillion years or something. well WRONG!! here i am. lol so got a few things to share with you. Also a little toot toot to me, im in the latest scrapbooking memories mag, my third ever time i have been published. woohoo :) my layout is a double and is titled i stuck mum, dunno what page its on, i havent got my copy yet. hehe.

hello (hello) hmm just what i thought, an echo....that will teach me for not posting enough. lol. I really am quite boring. and to tell you the truth i havent got anything that i can share with you just yet, layout wise anyways! I have not been doing any scrapping other than what i have to, because i LOST my heidi swapp distresser and i really think my mojo got lost with it. lol.

So i am going to make myself do something today, if i can ever tear myself away from playing games on facebook.

I do have a little bit of exciting news though, i made it onto the shortlist for scrapbooking memories masters comp. how cool is that?? little ole me. Just gotta wait now till its announced, i received my work back in the mail the other day so i cant wait to share with you all, although i dont think we are allowed to be doing that till the top 10 are announced. Although i dont think my work is top 10 material, there are some seriously great scrappers on that list, including a few of my mates :) im just stoked to be on the shortlist really! thanks mel for making me do it!

for now im just going to share this cute and seriously cheeky photo i took of my gorgeous baby boy the other day. he has just turned 6 months old, how friggin crazy is that!!! and yesterday i caught him saying dad dad dad, although my hubby tried to tell me he was saying it the other day, i wouldnt believe him, i was in full denial, i was so hoping for a mum mum mum first this time. lol....anyway take care all, i will be back in a few days :)

firstly embellished idol: i got eliminated after round 7, which i must say i hated the criteria for that one. I made a headband, it sucked, hence the reason i got eliminated. hehe. anyways.....

hi all. i have to be the worst blogger in the world. been far to busy though to post. plus havent really been doing much scrapping or anything interesting enough to blog about.

so over at scrap the girls we have had a change of blog boss :) my beautiful bestie mel has passed the blog onto the lovely Kayla....and with the change of boss comes a revamp of the blog, it looks great she has done a fantastic job sprucing it up. So i am a working mum now.....as most of you know, my hubby broke his ankle about a month ago, and not just broke it but needed surgery on it broke it!! so we are not getting any income coming in....so a job came up for the company my mum works at, so i thought hey why not...get myself out of the house and get a break from the kids for 15 hours a week. So last night was my first REAL shift.....it was interesting to say the least lol, but i got through it.

so i went out and visited my uncle and aunty and there 3 girls last week, and of course i took my camera and had a mini photo shoot with them, here are a few of my favourite shots....

there is more but blogger is being a nasty bum, so i will post some more later. I think that better be it from me....i have probably overloaded you :) anyways........hope everyone is well out there!

so ive had a stessful few days, it was my little girls 3rd birthday on friday. Gosh time has flown by, cant believe she is 3. So anyway on her birthday my darling hubby broke his ankle at work, so he has been in hospital all weekend had to have an op on it and all. drama!! now my pop is in that same hospital, very very ill! when it rains it pours in this family i can tell you!! So havent done any scrapping!! i will share with you my scrap the girls lo for this month, head on over there for all the comp details. here is my LO...

i know, i know, im so totally slack. So whats been going on.....well not alot, just being mum to my beautiful but frustrating children :) i have not been doing any scrapping that i can share with you. how terrible!! but i have been taking photos, so i will share some more of those with you i guess.....firsty i took the kids out the backyard to play and got some pretty cool shots and as you will see it looks like my backyard is a paddock hehe but the weather here has been wet and yucky so darling hubby didnt mow the lawns for a few weeks. I like the effect i got from the long grass though. lol.Then i talked my lil sis bonnie into modeling for me to get some practice up. here are some of my favourites from that.

i took like 250 photos hehe. im loving doing it though, and going to look into doing some sort of course or something to learn how to do everything properly. anyway thats all ive got :) i will be back soon with some scrapping to share, hopefully.

oh theres a cyber crop on this weekend over at scrapbook n bits hosted by my lovely bestie mel go and check it out, it will be super fun!!

hi all! if anyone is still bothering to check if i post. I have neglected you all, so so sorry! So what have i been doing you ask. Well besides all my time going to my 3 little kiddies i have been doing nothing really. The only scrapping I am doing is for Whats old is new and the scrap the boys, scrap the girls blogs. I am amazed at how well Whats old is new is going. Mel puts in a lot of work to the gorgeous kits that have been selling out within days!
